Our Personal Training sessions provide the ultimate level of support for you on your fitness journey. We understand that everyone has different goals and motivations - feeling healthier, losing weight, improving your mental wellbeing, keeping up with your kids...whatever it is, we can tailor your work outs to ensure you meet these. It's about more than just counting your reps for you - we help you with your mindset, keeping you accountable, and on track.

At GoodShape PT, we don't believe in army-style (sergeant yelling at you type) training.  We believe in creating an environment that is fun and supportive, and building a training partnership that keeps you motivated and coming back.

 

No gym bros here - we're real people, training real people. We're not about calorie counting, weighing your poached chicken and checking out your muscles in the mirror. Our philosophy is about making sensible choices and sustainable change.

We're happy to offer one free trial Personal Training session! Completely obligation free - we understand finding the right fit is important in your fitness journey. This is the perfect opportunity to trial us and see if we're the right fit for you. 

FAQs

  • Our two trainers both hold a Certificate III and IV in Fitness from the Australian Institute of Fitness.

  • 45 minute sessions are $85/session.

    60 minute sessions are $100/session.

    We also offer discounted packages. See our pricing page here.

  • We advise 45 or 60 minute sessions are best for pacing and getting variety into your work outs. However 30 minute sessions can be arranged upon request.

  • This depends on your preferences, lifestyle and budget. We recommend a minimum of weekly.

  • While you may see other Personal Trainers advertising that they will provide this advice, this is actually outside the scope covered in a Certificate III and IV in Personal Training. We can absolutely give general advice on diet (e.g. calculation of macros) and supplements, but for an individualised nutrition plan, we advise seeking professional advice from a dietitian or doctor.

  • Our cancellation policy is a minimum notice period of 24 hours, with a view to rescheduling this session within a week. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged the full session fee.

  • Yes, provided you’ve taken professional advice and know it’s safe to do so. We ask that you let us know so that we can make adjustments for you during the session to suit your needs.

  • Just bring yourself, a towel and water bottle. We’ll provide the equipment, guidance and fun!

  • We meet near the pedestrian crossing between Easton Park and Rozelle Parklands. There is a location pin if you search 'GoodShape PT' in Google Maps.
